...On the 2009 Folk Festival

"Please pass on to the committee and all those who helped in the organisation of the festival, our thanks for what turned out to be an excellent festival."

"What a fabulous festival! We took 8 hours to arrive from Devon (via a 26 mile jam on the M25) but it was worth it.    Highlights were the Morris dancers (Bourne Borderers) who helped us pitch our tent at 1030 on Friday night, the unbelievable line up on Saturday night (can't have been any festival that got it more right), the lovely Breton melodies and dances from BOF in the afternoon, and above everything the friendly people everywhere "

"Thank you for booking The QP at Ely and for making us all feel so welcome. Please pass on all our thanks to your committee and the stewards. "

"Just a quick message to say thank you so much for a lovely time at the festival. Everything was so well organised and everybody so helpful and welcoming, it was a joy! Especially the Green room for us, what a fantastic place to have! "

"Hiya one and all,   just to say what a bloody marvellous weekend we've just had!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   The best bands I've seen in all the years I've been going to the fest.   Great weather   AND   Linda and I met lots of wonderful new people and reacquainted ourselves with some old friends.  Thanks, thanks and thanks again to all the organisers. "
